Barbarian Group To Sign On As Conference Sponsor!

So just finalized stuff up with Rick Webb and Ben Palmer of Barbarian Group, and we’re happy to announce today that Boston’s very own kickass interactive media marketing firm will be jumping on board with ROFLCon as a conference sponsor. You may remember these folks from that time they rocked the face off of the world of meme advertising by teaming up with Crispin Porter to produce Subservient Chicken.
We’ve been doing some awesome behind-the-scenes work with them recently, and we’re pretty much tickled pink to have them supporting the conference and a VIP cocktail reception before the Party of the Internet.
And with a media rack like that in their office (above), who wouldn’t love them? (Thanks to IanDavid, CC BY-SA-NC, please note major tech-cred Dreamcast, third shelf from bottom)
Some registration/logistical news, for all you knowledge-junkies, after the jump.
Plus, had a meeting tonight with all the head honchoes of ROFLCon and we’re all systems go for figuring out a venue and finally (finally!) opening up registration for realz on Monday/Tuesday. If you’ve pre-registered by hitting up our gmail account: stay tuned, we’ll shoot out a mass e-mail to let you know the story next week. And, even better, if you’re one of the early birds — sit tight and we’ll let you know what to do to claim your special discounts.
