By virtue of an awesome reference from Joe Peacock of Mentally Incontinent, the ROFLCon Team recently got in touch with John Hargrave, an elder statesman of internet culture and founder of Web 1.0 online comedy staple Zug.com (est. 1995!). You might remember John from his herculean attempt to get the audience to spell out “ZUG.COM” in big letters during the Halftime Show at the Superbowl, impressive mass media manipulation, or in his endlessly distressing manipulations of our nation’s credit card system. He was also involved in what was arguably one of first DIY online video shows ZDNet’s Computer Stew, in 1999.

Like many other memes that have answered the call, I’m happy to announce that John will be coming to lurk around in the audience and otherwise participate in the dialogue/festivities of ROFLCon. Needless to say, we’re pretty pumped to have him on board.
