In advance of the conference in a few weeks, I’m happy to announce that ROFLCon is going to be teaming up with Alexis Ohanian and the rest of the Reddit crew to conduct user-generated Q&A’s with some of our amazing guests (ideally, once a week). You can read Alexis’ post for more deets here.

This week, “Cheez,” founder and director of LOLCat enthusiast staple, I Can Haz Cheezburger? goes under the Reddit microscope! You can submit hard-hitting questions, rate up/down other people’s questions, and get yourself all down and dirty with the comment threads on a special limited-edition Reddit — check it out here.

[THIS POST IS FROM THE 2008 ROFLCON. REGISTRATION IS ACTUALLY STILL OPEN DUDES. SEE HERE]

As some of you have been realizing, I’m sorry to say that registration for ROFLCon is officially CLOSED. As we’ve been mentioning, our max capacity over at MIT is about 500, so we gotta make sure we have room for guests, press, and, of course, your incredibly gorgeous and talented conference staff.

If you haven’t gotten in yet– no fear — there’s still a few choice opportunities to get in on the festivities in a month (!) or so. Stay tuned for special offers for admission for help on the blog. In addition, if there’s any leftover slots after we account for everyone else, we’ll open registration for the final few regs left. It’ll only be a few offers, in any case, so keep your eyes peeled!

Happy Easter! Just wanted to go ahead and drop the poster that Jennifer Feller (creator of our adorable ROFFlies) whipped up for our music show. Feel free to post everywhere and share with friends and friends alike.  It’s looking like it’ll be an awesome performance.

Stuff White People Like Will Be At ROFLCon

#64: Recycling. White people like recycling.

While white people like things like The Wire (no kidding: best show most recently on television), Stuff White People Like, apparently, likes ROFLCon.

That’s right, Christian Lander, founder and writer behind recent internet superstar blawg Stuff White People Like, will be at ROFLCon! On a lark from several attendee requests and the team, we sent a feeler-out e-mail just about a week ago and were supremely excited to hear the positive response. Right now, Christian will be hanging out in the audience and lurking around the conference, but we’re seeing if we can’t work a speaking spot out for him with the schedule reshuffle as we optimize space for the event.

Totally, utterly amazing. If you guys have ideas for existing/new events or panels you’d be interested in seeing him on, comment here!

Trip to Florida took me longer than I thought it would, so the newest (and potentially final?) conference schedule iteration will be coming up early next week! Stay tuned…
