Episodic Sponsors San Francisco ROFLThing!

After a few days of hard work getting stuff together, there’s nothing quite like ending the week on a good note: met with Noam from SF area start-up episodic for coffee and I’m happy to announce they’re teaming up with us to sponsor the open bar @ SF-ROFLThing! This is mostly because Noam and his crew are amazing, amazing people.

Episodic is in the business of building a platform for video production. They’re still in private beta that you can sign up for (though with this slick iPhone app openly available), but from everything that they’re telling me, some of the analytics/tools they’re working on for analytics, monetization, and syndication are generally going to kickass when they get rolled out (and hell, they’re Creative Commons enabled to boot).

Apologies too, while the blog’s been inconsistently updated this week, I’ve been running around and working the phone lines to see if we can’t get a few more big web celebs to come for the event. I can’t announce who they are yet (beyond the one you know we’re trying to get), but the good news is that it looks like they’re interested — we’ve just got to sort out the details. Be prepared for a couple of cool announces as we move into next week.
