Bre Pettis is the man for our times.

A DIY juggernaut and video production prodigy, Bre has done work for Etsy and Make Magazine, and is the founder of NYCResistor, a Brooklyn-based hacker collective — widely regarded as doing the coolest stuff this side of the Atlantic. He makes a video everyday about making things.

Naturally, we’re pumped to have him speaking at ROFLThing-NYC.

His talk: “Commonist Objects,” will be about rapid prototyping technology for artists, and the unbelievably awesome things you can do with it.

[To questions we've been getting: as before, tix are not yet available (set to release around New Years) -- but you can reserve a spot by dropping an e-mail to tim AT roflcon DOT org. Might be a good idea, as we're expecting to sell out (our tickets, kthx atl)]
