Eric Schoenborn of the American Civil Liberties Union will be at ROFLCon
Eric Schoenborn is a classic case of old lawyers meet new media.

He’s the American Civil Liberties Union’s Director of Website Communications, and comes from a visual/digital media background (watch out, turn your audio down). Before working with ACLU, he had a history of consulting for cool non-profits, making their messages clearer and more accessible. In fact, he even helped MoveOn.org with their awesome Bush in 30 Seconds ad campaign/competition.
Right now, he’s pushing the ACLU in a more interactive and visually engaging direction (Eric says they’re working on a slick visual refresh for their blog), which is cool, considering their historical outreach consists largely of white-papers and press releases. Of course the ACLU isn’t a new meme, but we’re still very interested to learn how a traditional activism-oriented organization reacts in this fresh battleground. I’m personally interested in hearing about the speed at which an organization like ACLU can move in this age — how quickly decisions can be made and acted upon.
Eric will be a panelist on the PWNING FOR MANKIND panel.
